With all the stories of sexual assault coming to the light in Hollywood and in the political arena, it shouldn't be a shock to anyone that stories of sexual assault in the Church are becoming visible. Hannah Paasch and Emily Joy, being advocates themselves, started the #ChurchToo hashtag to give folks a chance to share their stories on a public platform to out assailants, to stand in solidarity with victims, and give others a #MeToo moment for folks in religious circles. It's been garnering national attention from major news outlets, including Teen Vogue, Bustle, and others.

Today, Hannah and KG talk about the genesis of this project, what churches can do to better address this issue, care for victims, and what this may look like going forward.
